Chris Berry
Managing Director
Co-Founder, Chris has been with Liquid Voice since its inception in 2004.
A hands-on guy with his entire professional career spent in contact centre and software, Chris brings a great wealth of practical and strategic experience to the business. Although more-recently his main input has involved the running of Liquid Voice in the UK, Chris has worked his way through the ranks from a spotty-faced teenaged call centre operative to supporting, deploying, consulting, designing and then selling systems back into them and he loves nothing more than getting stuck into customer requirements and offering resolutions to complex challenges.
Long weekend walks with his Cocker Spaniel, Teddy, skiing and golf are his main hobbies but much to the frustration of his fiancée, Chris also enjoys dismantling and remodelling houses.
Andrew Barrett
CTO & Managing Director, ANZ
Having co-founded Liquid Voice in 2004, Andrew is instrumental in driving product innovation across the company as well as growing the business in Australia, New Zealand and the APAC region.
His inspiration for creating Liquid Voice came from his time at Civica where he headed up their business unit focused on contact centre solutions. Andrew saw an opportunity to create an interaction recording solution that was far more intuitive to use than traditional platforms and that would enable organisations to fully capitalise on the power of analytics to generate the depth of insights that deliver real business value.
With a love of the great outdoors, in particular heading to the mountains, Andrew made the lifestyle switch of moving the family to New Zealand in 2011. This has not only stimulated some great innovation but has enabled Liquid Voice to be closer to their customers in this part of the world.
Chris Burden
Executive Director
Chris joined Liquid Voice in September 2020 to help transform our operation, understand the challenges and opportunities our customers face, and, along with the Exec board, to help drive the future growth of our business.
Prior to joining, Chris has had 20+ years’ experience as Senior Director in both PLC and SME organisations, with a successful track record in all aspects of business, particularly in Software and cloud organisations. Throughout his career, he has delivered sustainable and profitable businesses, with experience in both the public and private sectors.
Outside of work he enjoys the outdoor life, and as a Northerner, he is regularly found walking the Yorkshire Dales, that is when he isn’t jetting off to more exotic locations – unfortunately limited these days!
Nick Lander
Non-Executive Chairman
Nick co-founded Volvere plc (AIM: VLE) in 2002 to invest in business requiring capital for growth. Since then he has chaired several businesses across multiple sectors, which have been repositioned, grown and subsequently successfully sold.
Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in 1990 and has held board positions in several private and public companies in addition to undertaking a number of voluntary roles. Amongst other things, he currently sits on the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
A keen skier and self-confessed petrol-head, Nick has more cars and motorcycles than is rational!
